### How IoT and Blockchain Work Together

**IoT devices** are transforming how we collect and use data in the real world. Sensors measure temperature, track motion, monitor water flow, and record energy usage across industrial facilities, logistics networks, and energy grids. When these devices connect to **blockchain**, something powerful happens: every reading, every event, and every condition they detect gets recorded in a way that cannot be altered or deleted.

Once IoT data reaches the blockchain, it becomes **immutable, verifiable, and accessible** to anyone with authorization. This creates a permanent audit trail that companies, regulators, and partners can trust completely.
