* **Decentralization**: Open mining, anyone can participate with sufficient investment
* **Security**: No successful attacks despite processing billions of transactions
* **Scalability**: 1 million TPS achieved with Teranode architecture

**Key insight**: The trilemma isn't a fundamental law—it's an artifact of poor design choices in other implementations.
